WE CAN DISCUSS PROJECT PLANTING FOR 2027!

We plant from mid-April through to end-August, and work with clients with all advice necessary and taking advantage of seasonal rain events and ensuring plants get the best chance at survival. Ground preparation (especially with clay soils) required generally includes deep ripping well in advance/during the dry Summer period, as well as discing up and breaking down clods and ensuring the ground is as plyable as possible to promote better soil contact when planting. We do prefer to complete site inspections, but do understand this is not always possible- please contact us for all planting advice you may need.
Our machine requires a manned, 100hp minimum FWA tractor for the job. The machine itself is a one-pass machine with a fully adjustable scalping blade (for clearing the weed-seed bed where required), an adjustable ripper (to ensure the plant roots follow down any moisture fast), and discs to ensure the ground is broken up as much as possible sealing as much soil around the plant root system itself (retaining moisture and allowing for faster growth). The machine also leaves a water harvesting furrow on each side of the plant- meaning when we receive 5mm of rain, the plant root system ideally gets 10mm. This is also adjustable, but also means the plant is in a 'channel' that can be manually watered as well post-planting ensuring better success rates. We strongly recommend manual post planting water immediately, plus further manual watering when necessary during Spring and Summer to ensure better success rates.
Our machine has the capacity to plant up to 12,000 seedlings per day, depending on soils and conditions.
